After going over everything with them and was told I'd receive a quote to approve the work, but never did. • I had used this company 13 years ago to install the hvac systems in my new construction. I did experience some quality control issues on those installations. I recently had one of my units not cooling properly. I unfortunately decided to call Bass again to have the unit looked at. From day one and during this ordeal I explained that I was a repeat customer who had experienced quality issues in the past and was assured by multiple people from Bass that this would not be an issue on this installation. The repair cost on my existing unit was fairly high so I asked for a quote for a new system and stated I wanted as close as possible to what I had. I decided to get the whole system replaced. I told the supervisor his quote was on the high side but I was willing to spend that amount for a quality installation. The installation was completed I believe the next week. I believe the next week I went to my garage and saw a good size water stain on my ceiling about where the unit was. I went to the attic and water was dripping out of the air handler itself and there was water in the secondary pan. This prompted me to look in my pantry where the unit was lifted into my attic and noticed marks all over the paint and the moulding had been disturbed. I contacted Bass and they sent a tech out. Long story short the air handler had not been properly converted from vertical installation to horizontal. I think it took a total of 3 or 4 visits to finally get the system straightened out. I also found garbage and installation debris left in my secondary containment pan and in the attic area. Bass did send a company out to fix my ceiling and pantry and they did an awsome job. My opinion is that for the price I paid, I did not get the quality job I expected. I personally won't use this company again.
