• This company is horrible, every time you call you speak to different individuals, no one has a database to lookup your previous call or appointment, they came onsite, charged 150$ and stated they could not remediate the issue. I called another contractor and it was night and day. Do not use Cosmopolitan.

• Shady Business. They sold me an AC Unit that was manufactured in July 2014 and sold to me as brand new and installed in early 2019 without disclosing its a new unit but old stock. That is dishonest way of doing business and explains why I have had yearly seasonal issues with the unit after install due to it being a older manufactored unit and having to spend additional money on service/troubleshooting visits. That's why I stopped using them for any type of service or repairs and now use an honest company who pointed out the manufacture date. Its like a car dealership selling you 5 yr old brand new car that has been sitting on their lot at current marketvalue pricing and selling its brand new.

• Deeply concerning workmanship and conduct. Lennox furnace was installed without an air intake pipe, which is required by manufacturer specifications and applicable code. This omission created a potential safety issue and should never happen with a professional installation. Rather than correcting the mistake, asked me to pay $300 to add the missing intake — work that should have been included from day one. Following the installation, was also told I had agreed to an ongoing annual service contract, despite no such agreement being signed or disclosed. Between the incomplete installation and the misleading follow-up, homeowners should be very cautious before spending money with a company that appears willing to cut corners, has no regard for your safety and shifts responsibility onto the customer.

• ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE: I recommend that you do not deal with them. I purchased my furnace and central air conditioning from them in April 2020 with a 15 year Parts and Labour Warranty, stated right on the invoice. I also purchased a furnace mounted humidifier in January of 2021 with a 5 year warranty. Every time I called them for service when I wasn't getting enough heat and called them out for service, they found a reason to charge me for the service charge and refused to cover it under warranty. They send a sub contractor to do the service, not their own staff. At one service call the contractor demanded cash payment ONLY from my wife when I wasn't at home. They send me the same guy all the time, even though I requested that they don't send me that serviceman again. This past week, I called them out because my humidifier did not work at all. It turned out that the Pin Valve that allows the water flow to the humidifier, which they installed with the humidifier failed and did not allow the water flow. He changed the valve and the humidifier started working. He gave me an invoice for $129 plus tax for the service call AND tried to charge me an additional $45.00 for the valve. He got Randy on the phone to talk to me. Randy claimed that service calls are never covered under warranty which is not the case with any other reputable company. I signed the invoice "Under Protest" just to get this character out of my house. Randy texted to me demanding that I immediately send him an Interac E Transfer. I responded that I will send him an E transfer when he shows me documentation that states clearly that service calls are no included in their warranties. I still haven't received a response from him. Most likely, because he has nothing he can send me.
