• I rarely give 5 stars but Eco AC did an amazing install of a complete replacement system. Always get multiple quotes which I did. It just proved that there are many dishonest companies out there. Price was fair but more importantlly, workmanship was excellent. Never over promised or under delivered. Very happy with the upgrades.

• I can’t say enough great things about Matthew! He came out today to troubleshoot my ductless mini-split system, which is a pretty complicated setup with six heads throughout my house. He was incredibly thorough and was able to locate the refrigerant leak, get the necessary parts ordered, and, in the meantime, add enough refrigerant to hopefully get me comfortably through the weekend until the repair can be completed. Matthew was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on, answered all of my questions, and communicated everything clearly throughout the process. It’s such a relief to finally know what the problem is and have a plan in place to get it fixed! Thank you so much, Matthew and Eco Air Conditioning! • Exceptional service from Caleb. I’d estimate the 10th hvac tech to visit our home in the past 1.5 years—from 3 different companies—for a persistent non-cooling issue. And he came out within 5 hours of my call as a new customer on one of the hottest days of the year. He ran some initial tests and thought to open our return vent, where he found a years-old filter obstructing the airflow. He even vacuumed out the cavity. Immediate relief during this heat wave. We’re cancelling our membership with one of the top-reviewed and rated companies in Austin and plan to replace the system with Eco Air when the time comes (hopefully not soon!). Thanks, team!

• They are AWESOME!! I needed to replace my whole system and their price was fair and much better than a few others I got in the process. Chris the install manager was super communicative and always answered any questions I had quickly. They brought me some portable AC units to use in the week between scheduling the install and the actual appointment which made a huge difference and I really appreciated. On the day of the install, Chris came out ahead of time to scope everything out and make sure we were all good to go. My condo is extremely weird in terms of measurements - the space for my indoor unit was at a weird angle and tight but they managed to get it in with no damage to the surrounding area (I was impressed). My outdoor part is on the roof and they managed a crane and that whole thing seamlessly. I was super surprised at how efficient the whole thing went. I couldn’t recommend them more!

• Eco Air Conditioning did a great job removing two old R-22 systems and replacing them with new Carrier Infinity systems. They took the time to understand what I was looking for in a new system and quoted me different price levels, and explained a bit about what you get at the different levels. They did one unit per day so that I was never completely without HVAC. I had a few small things for them to look at after the install and they kept working with me until I was happy. Some parts of the install were in hard to reach areas of my house, but they got the work done and showed me pictures of their work. My new systems are amazingly quiet. With summer here, I'm using about 20% less energy than I did before and I'm happy to now have the latest technology and refrigerant, should I need service.

• The A/C unit in our second floor went out and I needed it fixed quickly. I called Eco Air on a Monday morning and they were able to get there a couple of hours later. I had looked at it myself and thought it might be the capacitor or the blower motor, but Matt and Caleb came out and found it was just a clogged condensation line that was setting off the float switch. They cleared the line and also did the same for my other unit, and were done before noon. They also told me what I needed to do to keep the line from being clogged, and the price for the whole thing was very reasonable. I’ve used a number of HVAC companies in my home and business location, but I will be calling these guys first going forward – great job!

He’s not only on the sales side but has previously worked as one of the technicians for AC units and when he came out to our house he knew exactly what we needed and didn’t. • It's getting that time of year. Our AC/Heating system needed to be replaced after 20 years. Eco Air came out and really did a great job laying out our options. Matt introduced us to the Daikin, yes the Astros stadium name, variable speed AC and heat pump system. The entire replacement took one day, workmanship was very professional. If you've never heard of the variable speed system, do yourself a favor. It is so quiet and extremely efficient. Price was less than some had quoted for regular or dual stage systems. No more hard loud start-ups, we hardly know when it's running. Give Eco Air a shot, we couldn't be more pleased.

• Here’s who you want to hire! I needed a new air conditioner, so I did my research to find the top five HVAC installers within a 10-mile radius of my home in Buda, Texas. These folks came in at number two in an extended search using multiple platforms. The number one’s price was higher than Eco Air Conditioning and Heating’s, so of course I chose ECO. But that wasn’t the only reason—the owner (Matt) was so thorough in explaining the process and addressing my main concerns without taking advantage of them. Instead of adding thousands of dollars to the job like others did, the owner of this wonderful company said the issues I had shouldn’t be a problem. He suggested we could add on the other items (which the others had marked up dramatically) after installing—if needed— after the installation. Matt, was so correct about this that it prompted me to write this review—simply because he was so honest in his approach and absolutely right. The issues I was concerned with were resolved with just the standard air conditioner replacement and didn’t need all the extra add-ons. Matt had someone at the house the same day to look things over, and this person was a wealth of information. They scheduled the job according to my needs and showed up at the home at the exact time stated. He gave me a half-hour scheduling window and ended up arriving with all the new equipment right on time. They installed a two-stage Carrier 3-ton system with an amazing warranty, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of Eco.

• I just had Eco Air Conditioning fix my heating system and was really disappointed with them. After paying for a diagnostic visit, I was told they would reach out with an estimate and could come fix the system the following day. I didn't hear back for 4 days so I had to reach out to them and found out that they had ordered the part without ever sending the estimate. Then another few days passed of me calling and leaving voicemails, but I wasn't able to get ahold of anyone and didn't get a return call until mid-Friday (an ice storm was coming Saturday). The quote was overpriced, but I had no time to shop around if I wanted a working system for the storm. The only positive was that they were able to fix my system. Overall, I was really disappointed with the lack of professionalism/communication so won't be using them again.
