• We were connected via home warranty company. The first time they came was fine, they fixed the unit quickly and left. The AC unit broke again and they returned (over an hour past the time window) and said it needed replacing. 1. When my husband called to ask where the tech was and why they were an hour late, the person who answered the phone was rude. (Why are you being rude when you’re the one who is late?) 2. When they gave our warranty company the quote for replacing the unit, they said we needed multiple “code violations” fixed and needed to pay out of pocket. When we requested the quote in writing, we were told to call the warranty company. 3. The warranty company sent me BACK to Howard Aire, who then refused to provide the quote and texted that they no longer wanted to do the repair. Scam? You decide.

• After my old HVAC system died, HowardAire was recommended to service the unit. They explained the issues and the cost for repair. Since the unit was about 17 years old, I asked about the cost to replace instead. There was no hard sale or push to buy a new unit. Instead Marcus explained the options and left it up to me. I opted for a new install and I am glad I did. The install didn't take long and they even cleaned up behind themselves. The next day they sent a person to check the system and a few days later I received a call to make sure everything was still working well and if I had any questions. • Only giving one star because the ability to give 0 is not an option. It’s 18 degrees inside and I have been calling this company since Dec 5th to fix my mom’s HVAC . They either so not answer the phone or do not respond to texts . I finally talked to the RUDEST person today and they basically did not care that we have been without adequate heating since winter began. Told me to complain to whoever I felt fitting. These are the type of people you DO NOT want to hire. If you can avoid Lazy , lackadaisical company’s this is the one to avoid .! I will be contacting the BBB and complaining !

• Be wary of Howardaire services. My home warranty company sent them to fix my hvac unit. The diagnosis was there was a leak in the line set. I don’t think they even looked at the notes of the diagnosis because they were at my house for 4-5 hrs trying to find the leak. They took out some part that wasn’t even on the diagnosis notes and said hopefully they fixed it. They didn’t. They came back out weeks later and said the evaporator coil was leaking. I had to get that replaced plus refill freon($1250). After a week, no air again. I called another company and they came out and found the leak in 2 minutes. They had to re-souder the line and put more Freon. Of course I had to pay for it. But it is fixed. I don’t understand how this very obvious leak was missed by Howardaire. I do not recommend this company.

• On yesterday 5/3122 Marcus from HowardAire came out to service my air conditioner. I had been having an issue for 6 weeks and another company had been out 6 times. Marcus came out and allowed me to explain everything I had been through and he worked really hard to find my problem. I thought it was leak the entire time and he took the time to take everything apart and look for the problem. He put alot of time and effort into finding my issue. • My home warranty company sent these guys out to fix my A/C after it broke. Never again. While the technician was super helpful and knowledgeable, their other employees are another story. Their office never answered my voicemails, never updated me (I had to pester the poor technician for any info), never even told me what the costs would be. I've been without A/C for TWO WEEKS. • The team at HowardAire is amazing, not really any other way to describe the level of customer service, timeliness, professionalism, and care that they provided for us. We had to have warranty work done (ended up being a replacement) for one of our heat pumps and from start-to-finish, HowardAire had us up and running in 13 days. That’s dealing with the warranty company and ordering/receiving the heat pump and installing it. Not to mention the 90-min one way trips (x4) to my house…and then the heat pump the warranty company ordered didn’t have some of the mounting parts it was supposed to, so they made a trip to Lowes (90 min round trip) to get what they needed to make sure it was done correctly. These guys were great all around. Answered all of my questions, put me at ease, and took care of us after the local company wanted to charge $1800 for an unnecessary test after dragging out the claim process for 51 days…HowardAire diagnosed the issues in about 30-40 min simply by listening to us when we told them what was going on, then applying their expertise. If you’re in the market for any heating or A/C type work, HowardAire should be your first and only stop if you want a quality experience. Thanks fellas!

• Refreshing to work with this company, and that comes from someone that’s dealt with lots of HVAC companies. Very responsive and professional.
