• I am writing this review in hopes of getting in touch with Chris somehow. Considering he won’t answer our calls or texts this is my only option besides small claims court. He had been a really amazing guy for the whole time I had known him. He worked with my grandmother at sears. They became close friends. He would come out on holidays and look at the ac and a lot of times didn't even charge them to help with something. Approximately June 8th of 2026 he came out and looked at a unit he had installed about 8 months prior. He said the part was on back order and he would stay in touch with updates. Well long story short about 55 days went by with no word from Chris. He wouldn't answer calls or texts and never said another word about fixing the ac. He ignored calls and texts from my 81 year old grandparents and left them hot in their home for a couple days short of two months in the hottest part of the year. The thing that baffled me the most was that the unit was covered under warranty so it wouldn't have cost him or my grandparents a cent to fix it minus the labor. It blew my mind that texts and calls went unanswered for so long. In my opinion it was very unprofessional and I surely didn't appreciate the disrespect and the deceit I experienced. That's why l'm giving 1 star on this experience I had. In the past I would have given 10 stars out of 5. But leaving elderly people in the hot house to bake just isn’t very professional. Id appreciate you reaching out when you’re not too busy please. Thanks.

• Glyn and Laura have been helping us out since we became homeowners in 2018! • Awesome Company with great values. I will use them if needed in the future and highly recommend them (From 2019) Updated 1/20/2025 R&C has been pur go to for years. They worked with Mom and Dad to find a system they could afford and installed the system in 2009. When Mom passed (7/2019) and Dad had Pneumonia and was coming home they worked us in and got the AC running before Daddy was released from the hosp. Fast forward to this week with the extreme cold headed in they worked me in on my day off and got my heat working cheaper than anyone else would have even made a service call. They are locally owned and take pride in their work. They are family oriented and really care. You can feel the love from the first call to when they arrive at your home. Just super people with heart and morals.

• Tip - call the office to schedule because the online appointment tool on their website doesn’t work. Yesterday was my third time calling R&C for service - once for my old workplace and twice for my own home. I feel lucky to have found them - in every instance they’ve been quick to get me on the calendar (yesterday Glen arrived within 30 minutes of my call to the office!). They replaced the condensation pump on my home HVAC and a very sketchy old rig-up of a failed capacitor on my outdoor condenser unit. I’ll be in touch with them when I’m ready to replace my home system. At my workplace, they repaired some very old overhead gas heaters in our warehouse. Because it is a small company you may not get the midnight on a Sunday service that is possible with larger companies - but when they are able to get you in Monday you’ll know it’s done correctly.
