TECH-ON-DECK was able to schedule my project quickly; within the week. Matthew Nuñez was personable, skilled, and clearly explained how to operate my new remote controlled fan before leaving. • I had to have my HVAC system replaced. Justin came out and gave me a thorough understanding of what was needed, what to expect, and then next steps. I was impressed with his care and concern for getting the job done right the first time. Then came Kessel (sp?) and his co-worker (Starts with an A..) to begin the work. Both introduced themselves, laid out the work tasks and asked if I had any questions. Again, I was impressed with their knowledge, professional demeanor, and politeness. Made me think I had stepped back in time to an era where quality of care and delivery was a priority. The job would have been completed in a day; however, I had a hiccup that delayed that. When Kessel returned, he had Juan as his co-worker. They both went right to work. Stellar job from both of them. Juan seemed quiet, yet very detail oriented. I appreciate that! When I first moved to Durham a few years ago we had an AC issue and they came promptly, discovered it hadn't been cleaned in probably years, and after cleaning it out and fixing one part, I had an affordable and positive solution. We now have a service contract for them to come twice a year and have had no issues sense. My mom just moved here and needed help when the HVAC went out during intense heat. They didn't have openings for 2 days, but then after a cancelation were able to fit her in the next day. They remembered me, were so kind to her, and helped her with a major revamp of her fuse box to update her electrical system to better support the HVAC and hot water heater. They only charged her for parts and their visit with no extra fees and even came back later that week for a discounted rate when something else popped up. I can't say enough of how kind, thorough, reasonable, and helpful they are. They're true gems!
